The
temperate climate of Lake Garda means that golf can be played throughout
the year. The Garda golf greens are in good condition
even in winter. Only the changing countryside indicates the season. Cypress
trees, vines, olive groves, century-old oak trees provide a beautiful
backdrop with the lake below, made famous by artists and poets.
The wide, green fairways are well kept and wind over the slopes, past
ponds and sand traps that make the course technically challenging even
for the export golfer. Garda golf is considered one of the most interesting
and challenging golf courses designed in the last ten years. It stretches
out over around 250 acres of land and was designed by
the English architects Cotton, Penning Steel & Partners. The Garda
golf Country club covers 27 holes between Rocca di Manerba,
Soiano Castle and the hillsides of Valtenesi
with many breathtaking nature spots.
Location
Garda Golf borders with the Porta del Sole Hotel.
